Stryn is good place to fish with numerous lakes and rivers and in the autumn there is also good fishing in the fjord as the fish are going out to the sea. For the rivers and the lakes you need to buy fishing cards. In the fjord its free fishing. There is a boat going out from Olden that can be booked for small fishing trips. For fishing in the sea we can also recommend the cod fishing in the nearby city of Aalesund that annually starts in February.

Nice hostel, great breakfast with the device to cook your waffles! My daughters and myself liked it a lot.

Great stay at Stryn to see the Gerainger fjord, and the two glaciers nearby! The ensuite double rooms are spacious, breakfast was wholesome with a great variety of things to eat.
