Bjørkelibakkane (20km from the hostel)

Bjørkelibakkane is a new and modern ski jumping arena which is a part of Nordfjord Fritidsenter. If you are flying to Sandane or going with car over Utviksfjellet a winter night you can see the illuminated ski area 600 m.a.s.l. on the north side of Nordfjord. The jumping area has 5 slopes in different sizes from 15m to 90m divided in K10, K25, K40, K70 and K90. This Arena have gotten very good feedback both from competitors and trainers.

Welcome to the mountains at Fjelli in Stryn (at 500 metres). Cross-country skiing. Accommodation and food/refreshments available. The official ski jumping facility for the county. Stryn outdoor pursuits centre.

Excellent breakfast, with big variety. Delicious hot supper at reasonable price. Very effective and friendly staff, especially the manager. Very good common spaces. Only complaint is that more hooks are needed for towels and clothes in the bathroom of Room 102.

Amazing breakfast and nice staff ! Quiet place on the top of a hill, pleasant stay, located 15min of a rather hard walk from the bus station ! Rather old premises, but very clean.
