Skiing
Stryn is a typical Norwegian small town with some of the country's more
amazing nature both summer and winter time. It is world famous for its beautiful scenery with glaciers and majestic mountains running into the mirroring fjords and lakes.
During the winter Stryn have more and better snow than most other places and summerskiing is one of the more famous activities during the summer. Stryn is located in the traditional district of Nordfjord, not far from the Jostedalsbreen National Park. People visit Stryn for enjoying the appealing and cosy city, sight seeing and all year glacier skiing. The small town has numerous historical and architectural attractions as well.
Stryn Vandrerhjem is located just outside the town centre, in short distance
to the skiing resort with an amazing view overlooking the town centre and
the surrounding mountains and fjord.
